First freezer pasta meal of Orange Chicken Stirfry down the hatch – success! After thawing the pasta bag in water, I heated my, way to small, wok with 2 tsp oil. I tossed into the oil 1/3 cup thinly sliced onions, 1 large sliced red pepper, 1 bag frozen broccoli, and 1 can of chicken. When heated through, I added 1 cup frozen peas, 1 can of mandarin oranges (including juice), and 1 T. Orange Ginger wok sauce. For the final step, I tossed in the 8 oz. whole wheat pasta.
Meal success is measured in different ways. In our home, I measure success by clean plates or more simply quiet face stuffing. Tonight, TOUCH DOWN! Plus there are left overs for lunch!
