Boys will be boys

With our youngest, I’m learning. All the time. Like how fast I can leap stairs when he’s climbing onto the top bunk at 12 months. Or how quick I am able to grab him as he tries to “catch fire”. But mostly I’m learning about potty training. How many minutes his bladder can handle, why he suddenly hides, what the stench is at the end of naps… The newest is his desire to stand up while going potty. Magically my husband is never around for the stand up moments. What does a girl know about stand up potty? What about “the shake”, is there a special technique involved? And aiming? Is that like watering the garden?
The good news? Our Spring Break week involved only one accident. Progress!
